I was awestruck when I first learned about Bitcoin and began buying BTC 20 dollars at a time from a Bitcoin ATM, then moved to 100 bills until I had accumulated CDN$4000 which was the current selling price for one full Bitcoin. Since that time Bitcoin has gone up to USD$19,000 and back down to USD$3500 and I have moved my funds to a paper wallet.
You can find an ATM near you to try purchasing your first bit of Bitcoin at https://coinatmradar.com/ and visit with $5 or $10 When purchasing Bitcoin, you need to have downloaded a QR code onto your mobile phone. I registered and downloaded my QR code from wallet.mycelium.com and the website sent a QR code to my mobile phone.
If I want to add to my Bitcoin, I just go to the Bitcoin ATM, insert $20 into the currency slot and hold up my personal QR code on my mobile phone up to the ATM camera and my $20 will be added to the balance in my Bitcoin account ( less the miner & ATM fee )
This whole transaction can take less than 60 seconds and you can look at the balance of your bitcoin account on your mobile phone to see the increased amount. I created a PDF explaining how to transfer money via Bitcoin, so click on http://bit.ly/2VIZ2Ol and read it.
